I’m excited to share four unreleased songs with you as part of the 11th anniversary deluxe reissue of Dusk to Dawn. These songs mark the end of an era in my music production process. They are some of my last compositions made in Acid Pro before I made the leap to Ableton where it took years to develop as fluent a workflow. These tracks were slated to be on Dusk to Dawn until deadlines and perfectionism resulted in their omission from the album. Even if I had access to the source files now I wouldn’t change them, so I present them to you as is, timestamps of where I was creatively at the time and artifacts of the technology used in the process. I hear elements of my early work as well as foreshadowing of what was to come. These songs are like old friends to me and it means a lot to be able to share them with you. The first two “Stonewall” and “Last Cause” are out today and two more will be released with the full deluxe version on February 18^th!
